The stiff racket structure at the top of the frame head allows the head to bend in a very controlled way and hold shuttles on the string bed for longer.
The thin frame sides then allow the frame to flex more and transfer more energy to the shuttle.

Following the development of revolutionary materials such as Fullerene, CS Carbon Nanotube and X-Fullerene, Yonex can now unveil their latest world-exclusive Nanoscience material: NANOPREME.
NANOPREME is a new level in 'Nano-technology', operating on a scale of less than one billionth of a metre by using an epoxy resin to bind graphite fibres together. NANOPREME overcomes the limited qualities of carbon technology to provide stiffness, high resilience and high repulsion from a single material for the very first time.
By installing NANOPREME in the whole shaft, Yonex has generated more repulsion and created a more resilient shaft. NANOPREME has enabled Yonex to develop the thinnest shaft in their history.
